INFORMATION & ENROLMENT
-To enrol for this course see the 'enrolment' link here or at the bottom of this page. You can also pick up a copy of the WEA's 2010/11 "Courses for Adults - Surrey " publication from local libraries, community centres etc, and complete the "Advance Booking" form contained therein. For further information it is recommended to contact the WEA's local course organiser Mrs Joy Tapping on Tel: 01306 713355.
IMPORTANT - Ideally everyone joining this course should attend with a partner, those without a partner will be 'paired up' where possible. A number of persons, for whom a partner cannot be found [experience shows that this will often be ladies], can normally be accommodated, however if the total number exceeds the number of couples then the time between dancing with a partner will be extended and some may find this unacceptable. Alternatively some single persons [as already mentioned, this tends to be ladies] could learn to dance the gentlemen's steps but again some might find this unacceptable. It is possible that a complete imbalance of those with partners and those without might actually mean that the course will not run. This issue will be addressed and discussed at the first session. It would be helpful to confirm, when booking this course, if you will be attending on your own or with a partner. The course 'make-up' did not adversely affect the 2009/10 courses. |
